LOOLLLLL shouldnt that be not what they have done on a car, BUT what they havent done

Anyhow, they might even charge for this service of providing information on cars service history !

I also thought the gereral concensus was NOT to TRUST VX dealers !!!

Personally, i'm really NOT interested in main dealer stamps in the service book !
These stamps can be obtained from Ebay at times, and also if you have a good mate working in the trade !

A stamped service book holds about as much water as a bucket with a hole in it for me !
Would much rather see a bunch of receipts for parts brought etc and even the average person can see if a cars been looked after or not !

I'm NO mechanic, but its not hard to see honest car when viewing to buy !

Hi Rock, i brought one for my 2.2, it fitted really well, and hasnt gone rusty yet ( 8 months )

Mind you the decission was quite easy, £100 odd quid for one from these guys or approx £700 ( or something REALLY silly ) from VX !!!

Jamie, looks like you quoted the part numbers for a 2.5 saloon mate , Eddie wanted the estate numbers !

lefthand centre section :- 90528008
righthand centre secton :- 93181163

rear box :- 93181190 ( up to 99)
rear box :- 9157104 ( from 00)

OK am i seeing things and possibly going senile LLOLL !

Have a 2000 2.2 GLS mega ( manual )

Has the cheaper split display screen in it that displays time, temp, and radio station etc !

Got home and turned car off at ignition, and thought " oh bugger whats the time " so quickly turned the key again to power up the display to see time !

I'm certain that where the radio station is displayed , on the bottom line of the upper diaplay, the word " MESSAGE" was displayed for a split second , before reverting back to my pre selected radio station !

AM I GOING MAD !! If not, what does it mean, is it a message from god, as i have been naughty and possibly started another oil thread, am i being punished

M8 x 25mm studs mate
Go to Vauxhall, at least you will get the right sized studs !

Seems all the 2.2's do it, kind of rough tickover !
Might be that the gearbox mountings are getting tired, BUT i wouldnt worry about it !

Think i am also right in saying these lumps have those silly balencer shafts in the engine too ! Mind you with out them it might rock over on to its side on tick over

Some days the SLIGHT movement in my gear stick seems slightly worse than other days !!!

Just a 2.2 trate i'm affraid !

AA whats this ACME engine cleaner !

The only ACME stuff i know of, is what the Cartoon charactors have ( such as the Roadrunner etc ), everything seems to turn up in ACME box's !

Just asking
