AM I SEEING THINGS !!

OK am i seeing things and possibly going senile  LLOLL !

Have a 2000 2.2 GLS mega ( manual )

Has the cheaper split display screen in  it that displays time, temp, and radio station etc !

Got home and turned car off at ignition, and thought " oh bugger whats the time " so quickly turned the key again to power up the display to see time !

I'm certain that where the radio station is displayed , on the bottom line of the upper diaplay, the word " MESSAGE" was displayed for a split second , before reverting back to my pre selected radio station !

AM I GOING MAD !! If not, what does it mean, is it a message from god, as i have been naughty and possibly started another oil thread, am i being punished  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Just a quick glitch on radio, don't worry about it. Basically, radio went into mute (for phone/TMO etc) briefly.  Ignore it.

Does this spec of car have the phone facility built in to it then !

It will display "message" if you press the traffic master button, and that sometimes farts about when you switch the ignition on/off

Traffic master, yeaaaaaaaaaaaa, thats what it will be then.

Cheers for the responces, never seen this " message " displayed before, but that robotic woman hidden in the dash board, does sometimes drone on, but unlike a real woman shuts up, when i press her button  ;D
