A 680 v8 scania with twin side pipes or uprights. We have a lot of them over hear and its a competition to see who gets loudest. Big kids really, double clutching when changing gear to get the full effect, etc.

dont know about being ex-cops but there all big men, suited up and armed. also you dont want to have them behind you on the motor-way as they just flash and/or sound the siren to get you out of the way. what speed limit!

It,s mainly mechanical parts that I am after, such as, brakes, suspension, exhaust manifolds(or headers as they call them) and systems but with the different wdith, I am assuming that the floor plan is different?  Also I am unable to find a 3.0l listing in the Commodore range...?
he never mentioned bodykits

yep, thats what i thought. the mate who does this is a fitter who runs his on buisness specialising in scanias. there isnt that many rolling roads for commericals so you have to take a chance on what your getting. he hasnt had any problems for the last ten years. he offered a farnchise to me, thats why i was so interested in it but then the recession hit so i forgot about it. lorry men have no problem paying it due to the fuel return but its far to dear for cars. he admits that himself.

its about 650 for the lorries and tractors etc. has done quite a few range rovers as well. i think he is a turbochip dealer. but its mostly lorries, scania being the most popular. never had any comebacks and he works at most of the stuff he chips.

this sounds like how i know a lot of heavy commericals are mapped or chipped. ive seen it done. downloaded onto a file and emailed to someone in europe who modifies it. then its emailed back. orginal is either put onto a disk or the orginal chip is handed to customer to keep just incase. havent heard of any problems and a lot of the engines have past the 800,000 km mark with no problems. it seems to be the safest way of doin it on commerical/agri engines. people over here have tried to do it but pistons turbos etc never last or they end up harder on fuel!
