ITV 2 had a film on tonight called Contagion. Very close to home. Bet a few shat themselves when they watched it.

Just watched it. As you say "close to home". Very easy to imagine reality following tbh.

Just saw this on the bay and whilst a bit steep looked a nice car if the price came down. Will leave it tho.......

General Car Chat / 2.5 Diesel Auto F/L Estate As a Tow Car

As per title fellas.

Any thoughts or experiences on using this engine gearbox combo in a FL estate as a tow car. Car will be used to tow a 1250Kg single axle pikey wagon. I know the gearbox won't appreciate a chip upgrade for extra horses, so is the 128 odd Bhp with an auto up to the job?

Any advice appreciated

The estate bug bit my hard a couple of years ago, thanks to Twiglet  just seems such a rare site to see a nice one on the road now

If a good one comes up snap it up, your only down the road from me too so any bits you don't want on it and all that 

I tell you what Dazzer, I sat back cos you have a viewing, but I so wish I'd hit that Buy It Now     Christ I was tempted, but thought no....fairs fair...a decent bloke deserves a decent chance - how wrong was I eh  Glad you got it *NOT*

Yep room for 4 .... lets do it 

You might have room, but without I.M. approval you could end up sleeping in it

I seriously wouldn't mess with internal management. Let me take the pain for you with my I.M. I'm totally covered b y the way.

Ive just heard the top end's shot, it's peeing oil all over the place, gearbox shagged, 3 doors won't open, EML on, all wheels wonky and its still got an Alsation in the back - best leave it

As expected I done a full HPI and mileage check and all checks out

I will let you all know how it goes tomorrow and if its sat on my drive by the weekend
