Don't like the idea of that headunit running through the Bose setup.  :-\

If it was an estate fella I would've gone for it. Ride a bike (with an engine) 500 miles a week to Canary Wharf so need an estate for family/towing etc.  Mate of yours is he  ;D ;D

Don't like the idea of that headunit running through the Bose setup.  :-\

Do you mean his own head unit running through the standard Bose ?? What probs could it cause ??

Hadn't noticed it before - only just started looked properly - did you view it at all?

The speaker impedance will be incorrect if he's ditched the amp and driven the speakers directly, equally if he's kept the Bose amp there will be issues, either the amp or the headunit is going to die prematurely.

Not sure on this, having owned 3 omegas and removed the standard stereo and replaced with a din divider and my own head unit I have never had any issues with anything dying  :-X

My very first one had a Bose speakers in the parcel shelf, thinking back I don't think the next 2 had them in ?

I take it as it was completely standard until I got it, it had Bose in it unless you could op for the speakers alone ? The Older gentlemen
who had the car before wouldn't have changed them
