Omega General Help / loose side skirt

Anyone know how these fix on. Mine is coming loose at the front on passenger side. Cant see easily whats gone wrong although havent looked that closely.

Hi, seen someone mentioned about this before but cant find the post. I have a very annoying rattle from the gearknob. The thing you pull up to change gear position rattles, is there anything I can do short of replacing the entire gear stick?

i got same thing with my mv6, back end was higher than front too so just had it lowered by 40mm (PI Springs). but its a bit drastic, still getting used to it. But no body roll.. 
brought bump stops too but garage didnt fit them said they were too small, even though they were universal.

crank sensor replaced, and fingers crossed its still all working. Im afraid I chickened out and got my garage to do it though when I saw when the sensor was located right at the back of engine. also max'd my credit card to lower the car at same time! but dont tell m'wife... 
broke down on way to garage though.... ended up having to be towed to the garage.

i thought i was going to get 1 or 2 flashes then 19 to indicate the issue but i guess you add them together. So assuming that then its looks like it could be 19. ie 9 + 1 + 9..... but im guessing... [smiley=embarassed.gif]

no its definately 9. been in the car for ages counting the flashing. yes it does the 1,2 thing a few times then does 9 times.

Hi, thanks for the offers people. May need help if indeed sensor needs changing. Done the paperclip and it seems to be coming up with number 9.
ie it flashes once, then twice, then nine times.

Ok, so I have the paperclip test details and the post about crank sensor. Can I just check the plug that I need to check whether its oval or square is under the panel I need to remove by the window wipers?

ok, may need to paperclip if i cant find out how. Its now started to breakdown whislt driving. Stopped yesterday in middle of dual carriageway. A v6 is a heavy car to push!!
Still think its crank sensor if I breakdown whilst driving?

Seen one on ebay £36 for omega 1994-2003 part 90492006. reckon thats it?
