....... Additionally, be aware that if the flanges on the new thermostat housing is a different depth, you will need different length bolts as well.

Or a stack of washers ....  ::)

I don't know why, but that reminded me of a Welsh mate when I lived in Australia. His favourite chat up line with Aussie birds was to inquire whether they had any British ancestry. If they said yes, he'd say  Lovely... Have you got any Welsh in you?   Would you like some?   ;D

It worked now and again as well!  :y   ;D

Lenny Henry aka Theo Wildebeest was using that line 40 years ago.

I've got to go over to Liverpool for mother's funeral on the 15th, so it'll get its six monthly wash before then. I may to ferry people around, so I'd better scrape the mud of the floor as well.

Sorry Steve, I've only just seen this.

Sorry for your loss.  :(

Purpose: HMRC struggles to match a significant portion of interest data from banks, hindering automatic tax collection. The NI number requirement will improve data matching, allowing HMRC to collect the correct tax more efficiently, often through tax code adjustments. ....

The Tax Man doesn't seem to have struggled in taxing me on interest earned on savings .... he knew of all my savings accounts both current & past.

TA .....I'd never heard of it. Sounds like yet another step towards autonomous cars & another reason to keep the car I already have.  ::)

never heard of predictive cruise .... do mean you adaptive cruise?

My ML has a camera that reads speed signs to tell you what the limit is .... it's not always correct as it sometimes sees signs on side roads & confuses it with the limit on the main road that I'm travelling on. Other times it tells me the limit is NSL ... I've yet to find out what it's looking at  ??? ???

But I believe some sat-navs get their limits from Google maps but AFAIK that's not tied to speed limiters  ??? ???

The lad across the road works for Stellantis, apparently there is go-no go gauge for the belt. As above, what a stupid idea!

.....
You’d also lose the track/volume controls from the Omega B steering wheel wouldn’t you?
Others on here with personal experience of the Omega A will be better placed to answer this.

iirc the preface lift cars didn't have controls on the steering wheel, but I think you're right re the airbag

The exhaust was gratis, courtesy of my MOD employers stainless steel from stores. If questioned, my apprentice master said it was ‘training’ on a mandrel bender, sheet metal bender training for the silencers and Tig welding training for welding it all up. Just reminded me how much I miss that place and their tools and machinery. Oh, and their stores.  ;D

the cats back stainless exhaust on my Senator was courtesy of Hallls Mentholyptus .... the bends were either sections of 90 deg bends or the gentle bends were achieved using a hydraulic pipe bender & 'toffee' inside the thin walled 2" DPL stainless pipe to stop it from collapsing  ::)

We were years ahead of the likes of Powerflow Andy.   ;D :y

I have to say, depending on when it was done, I think the builder applied the DVLA's rules rather liberally to retain the original numberplate and Austin designation on the V5.  :-\

That's what I thought!  ;D
