Interesting. This is the first case i've heard of the TPS going bad.... how was it condemned?

you see the 3.0 engine is a conversion from a 2.2 the loom was built for the car but the plug for the throttle sensor was the newer shape one and there was a newer shape tps but she needed the older shape plug and sensor

I have a 3.0 v6 that wil drive 100 percent and revs perfect but when  im just driving at say 3000 rpm and just put the pedal to the floor its like she chokes herself.shd loses all throtle and  wont get it back for 3 to 4 seconds any idea whats wrong?

I reved her out and she didnt limit. I turned the key on and off reved her again and she limited.

I found out tonight it has a limiter but only when i flick the key on and off. Throttle sensor maybe?

I have recently bought an engine that was meant to be a 3.0 v6 the engines now in the car but there is no rev limiter. I know the 3.0 v6 does but why doesnt mine. I have also thought it might be a 3.2 v6 but why do the 3.2 engines not have a limiter?

i have a 2.2 petrol also. when you sit idleing for a long period of time she will reach 100 and over. what would my problem be here?

there is a large crack on the top of my manifold, the car is a 2.2 gls. she seems very low on power and is very sore on fuel. anyone know will fixing this solve both problems ?
