I got two racks of little Really Useful Boxes for the same reason.

Unfortunately as I bought it as a partly deconstructed project I still have a Quality Street tub labelled " assorted" :D :D

You absolute diamond, thank you ever so much!

I'll be using my label maker next time I do a project car, lord knows why I never thought of that before...

Popped the exhaust on the project this morning. Discovered that the ink on my labels has run to a blur even worse than my normal handwriting.

Need to reconnect the lambda sensors. Can't remember where the cable was routed and the plugs clipped onto the car, so can't do it off cable length.

Anyone know the colours of the lambda wiring going in and coming out? The plugs are wired about-face to one another so if I know what colour wire off the sensor goes to which colour wire on the loom, I can work it out side to side.

:y

Couple of hours plugging and routing wires whilst getting the purple one closer to the road.

Handily some of my labels have got wet and the ink has run so I've been standing there like Indiana Jones trying to decipher "SB--G &£X" or "R§¢✓ F#N"

Found no fuel delivery on the Countryman, makes me think its the pipe in tank . Need more tools to get at it now.

Sad thing is it's not unbelievable any more.

Work continues apace. Found the metal pipe that goes from master cylinder to the rubber clutch feed is goosed. 2000 V6 if it makes a difference. If someone still has a stash that would be useful...

Or are they the same across all manuals? In which case I may try my luck with a breaker.

I assume they cannot be repaired as the fitting is weird.

Cleaning my workshop and found the centre console , black ex plod just the main bit if you still want it.

Haven't been on for ages, but yes please!

Spent the day with the terrific Addy, off of this here forum, finding that I had done a biblically useless lack of preparation for reinstalling the engine into the purple project. Intended on having it done by noon. Finished about half four instead.

But it's there now... Only 150 more jobs to go!

Long shot but the project came with no front door cards fitted. Putting a spare set in and realised the car also doesn't have any inner window scrapers, the rubber bits that sit betwixt the top edge of the door card and the window. 1/2 inch thick rubber.

If anyone has a spare set...?

A few months later I had replaced the gearbox (on the drive by myself)

Alright He-Man
