Hi Guys

Has any one out there used fuel additives.. if so which ones have you used.

What effects do they have.

Are they worth looking at.

And finaly can any of them cause damage to the engine.

Thanks for that.. I will check the scuttle drains,

The idea of the heater matrix sound favorite, as the header tank needs toping up every day.. and the footwells are literally soaking wet.

Where abouts is the hbv, i'll have to get a haynes manual wont i, just get stuck in and sort it..

Is it a massive job to get to the heater matrix..

Hello again

My  v6 omega has developed a water leak of epic proportions. :-?

The thing is the passenger side front and rear carpet is soaking wet, and smells of antifreeze.

Has this happened to any one else, if so what was the cause.

Hi Matchless.
It runs at 90-95, it warms up quite quickly.

To tell the truth i hav'nt noticed if the fan cuts in or not,so i will have a look at that,  What a berk eh! :-[    should have thought of that realy

Thanks for the replies chaps, most apprieciated.

Theres no oil in header, and no yoghourt in oil or oil filler.

I will flush out the radiator and see what happens.

only had the car a short time, so dont know for sure how its been behaving.

Hi guys

I have a problem with my 2.5 v6 97reg

when running on road temp sits between 80-90 deg c.

If i turn heater to cold temp tries to go over 95 deg c

When i park up and switch off engine, coolant starts to leak, under presure fom header tank cap...

Help Please!!!!!!
