My omega had the same problem. i cleaned all breathers and valves and no luck. yurned out to be the crankshaft sensor i the end. cost me £220 supplied and fitted at a local garage.

Very Easy, on the passengers side just behind the front bumper. Turn the wheels to full lock towards the passenger side. Just behind the black plastic covering thingy you will see something that looks like a turbo. On that will be a conector, unplug that and your sorted. Of course you could get it up on a lift or ramps and it would be easier but i found it easy enough doing it as described above

yep i ment left hand side, i was thinking while looking under the bonnet. so i can just unplug it rather then replace it then?

When starting I have a wirring noise coming from the right handside behind the front bumber. Any ideas of what it could be and how to shut it up?

Just a thought. These v6 engines are more trouble then they are worth. wish i had of just stuck with my old 24v senators!! I knew what i was doing there

Could one of your spark plugs have a weaker spark then the rest ? thus unbalencing the engine?

is this a common problem. I cant get my head round these omegas im used to my 24v senators, alot more simplier!!

Omega General Help / Electronic climate control not working!

On my climate control all i have is heat and is stuck in the footwell position. all lights are working and the blower speed is working but i cant change it from hot or cold or the position. i'm not to worried about the A/C working at the moment but am a bit tired of having constent heat pumping out onto my feet. any help would most gratefull.

Have you recently Changed the Back box. I did and bought a cheap pattern part that doesnt  fit Properly and rattles when ideling and under hard aceleration.

U have just pulled out the HT leads and the wells were full to the brim with oil, im surprised the car was running!!!!!!

no visable oil running down the engine and i havnt het had the ht leads out. the wirl i refered to you say is the air injectors, shows how much my local garage know they told me it was oil cooler. the only sign of oil is at the front of the engine

thanks for all your help and advice. i had had a quick look at the rocker gaskets but couldnt see any signs but i willhave a closer look.
also some one mention the oil pipes from oil cooler. upon starting the car, the wirling coming from the oil cooler seems to be louder and longer then i have heard on others, any ideas?
