I have done the same. U dont need to remove anything !!!! All you need to do is find the remote + for bose amp and connect it to the new unit as amp remote. Works fine and sound is briliant !!! Just i would advice not to buy cheap ebay c**p from china. Cos they are using diferent amp for out and on low volume you will hear a bit buzzin from your speakers. i would recomend alpine, sony, kenwood, pioner, jvc. With those works fine !!! Good luck
well if just I could make amp working so I think it should convert output from 4 Omh to 2 omh. Just been to my local vauxhall dealer and they havent got a clue. tw...... ! Anyway I am not going to give up that easily. Will have to play with amp cables then

Hi, I have the same problem. Just with V6. In the morning it will start without any problems and runs smooth. Later when u switch of the engine it won't start for couple hours. And this started after I have touched camshaft sensor. Before that everything was fine. Just dunno now what to do. Do I have to change that sensor or the problem is in some where else
Had a bit of oil leak from my gearbox. So I decided to tighten the sump and it worked. No more leak but trying to top up gearbox oil damaged the level bolt coz it got stuck in the sump. Anyway I couldnt undo it. it will turn but not go out. strange. And its not leaking. Any other ways to check the level of oil in the gearbox and top it up or I have to get new sump from the scrap yard?
Just have changed cranck shaft sensor becouse it was cuttin off when hot. And I still have code 19 poping out when doing paperclip test. Will it disapear after some time or not To be honest its not a big problem just can it be something else? And one more thing. doing paperclip test i know code 31 should flash when the engine is off but it gives me only 12 and 19. Any ideas
Hi. I was just cleaning oil on camshaft covers and removed the sensor. After that it wont start. Next day it was ok until i turned the engine off. after couple hour it will start again. I am sure i have installed the sensor as it was. Today mornin started the car, went to work and its dead now. I have checked it makes no sparks, not suplying fuel as well. Does it makes any sense that I have damaged the sensor accidently Or it might be something else???
