Omega General Help / ECU remapping for economy

In this age of £6 a gallon is it possible to get a remap of the ECU for better economy. Before I consult with a dealer I would like some fellow owner advise.
My Car is a 2.6 V6 Auto saloon on a 53 plate. 45,000 on the clock and well looked after, serviced but the MOT guy said it was running rich. Bad news is I am only getting 21 MPG, less in the Winter. I have changed the Air filter, Fuel Filter and chucked some Injector cleaner in, any ideas ?

Hi to everyone. I have joined your group/forum hopefully to help and get help on the many issues with running a big world war two tank of a car. This is my second one and I have previously owned 2 Carltons. I do have a question for the experts which I will post in the apropriate section. My son has been involved in the Fiat forum for years so I hope this is the start of some good things
