Thanks for the reply.
That is a good question, not being mechanically minded. I think the LPG system is a Nicholson Mclaren? Does that sound right?

Just gone through MOT. New 3 part exhaust fitted. Not checked coil and plugs not checked for a while.

My vehicle - 2.2 GLS Estate is very juddery when running on LPG. It frequently stalls at junctions when warm. Clears when switching to petrol
Any idea's?

Omega General Help / Warning light

I have a 2.2 GLS estate, 2003.
Yesterday I had an orange warning light come on. It looked like this (0) but the brackets were broken, like dashes. Any clues? I couldn't find my manual last night!

Omega General Help / Stuck electric window

My electric rear passenger window successfully wound down about six inches, and now refuses to wind back up. Is there any way of manually getting it back up whilst I can get it fixed?

Omega General Help / Re: Hard ride after fitting new tyres

I must admit I have not checked the pressures. I have assumed they would have done them correctly. I will give that a check. It is such a difference to what it was before

Omega General Help / Hard ride after fitting new tyres
« on: 12 November 2009, 16:16:03 »
I recently had to have a new front exhaust pipe with catalytic converter fitted, and after leaving the car with the garage to do the work, I received the usual call regarding the two rear tyres being at their limit. Being a bit short of time I agreed to two new ones being fitted, but opted for two new,but cheap, tyres as I had the hefty exhaust bill to pay for. Previously there had been Pirelli's on.
Since I have had the car back, the ride seems different. You feel every small bump you go over, and I don't feel that safe! The car seems to wander! Could this be down to the type of tyres fitted?

Would you say that a replacement of locks, ignition and ecu is necessary to avoid entry into the car. I would not have a clue where to start myself so would have to rely on garage. Any idea of cost? I do still have one key.
The main worry is that if keys do not turn up, and, shall we say, fall into the wrong hands, all they have to do is walk round the car parks etc pressing the fob and look for the flashing indicators, and bingo!
