I couldnt comment on the lenses, but im sure people would use their common sense and only fit them to lights that were glass units,if what you say is true then im suprised that ebay and other retailers allow the sale of these kits without the seller having a warning in place on the ad,ive seen many of these kits advertised and not once have i noticed any such admissions, the only thing that is said that above a certain k and light colour should only be used for show/offroad purposes

I disagree with the boy, 3 years ago i had a bmw e30 cabs that i restored i fitted it with original bmw HID XENON units ,and when i came to sell it the DVLA had it inspected at it passed with no mention of the lights and trust me when the DVLA inspect a car they dont miss a trick,so unsure why any kits would be illegal when a lot of cars now have them fitted as standard

I've got to the point now where i want to find out how to compleatly disarm the fu*ker, but no one seams to want to tell me where all the wires go too ie wires from the indicators,so i can just get rid off,not bothered if it keeps going off as long as i, A.cant hear it and B.cant see it. LOL

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE....
I have disconnected the bonnet senor, the horn and black box thingy under the scuttel board, had a new battery fitted yesterday and the bloody hazzards were still flashing last night, doing my head in,i cant find the main control unit for the alarm just to turn it off or even a fuse to disarm it,any help please as not able to use as unable to lock even with the key as this sets the alarm too!!!!!!!

For the past 6 weeks the hazzards on my car have been trigered, there is no siren or horn just  the lights.I have had a new battery fitted removed the horn and the black box thing from under the drivers side scuttel area, removed the bonnet sensor and had the sensor button inside on and off to try that but to no affect, does anyone know if there is a main control module somewhere on the car so i can either turn off alarm completely or remove the function of the indicators, its really starting to do my head in!!!!!!!.Seams to be a problem as im not the first and probley not the last person with this headache..
