Thanks for your help on that one. The only reason i wanted to get new ones is
because someone told me that they sometimes snap and I dont want to be left in the brown stuff.
What about the horizontal bolt is that one available.

Omega General Help / Re: lower steering joints

Hi,
The lower steering joints can be replaced, kit comes with bolts & nuts to refit.

However, I suspect your problem is worn out / gone soft front wishbone bushes. this is more usual.

You would be better off replacing both wishbones. This will do the suspension bushes and lower steering joints in one job.

Lemforder wishbones available from All German Parts about £60.00 per side I think.

Folow this job with full geometry / alignment check. Preferably at WIM

How can I check if it is the wishbones and are they easy to change if that is my problem

Got a Wittig towbar on my prefacelift mig and wonder if it'll fit the facelift one?

Can't say I use it much but always nice to know it is there if I need to borrow a trailer to take some stuff to the tip. Plus, woman ran into the back of me once and while my car was untouched, hers was a mess where she'd hit the towbar.
took one off my old r reg,d and it went straight on to my 2001 v6
