I had tramlining (bump steer) on my miggy, stearing idler was shot and the bushings in the wishbones (apart from one). had it all replaced and had tracking, alignment and camber etc all re-done and she now drives lovely.

I have also noticed the power strearing problem too when i am on full lock and going v.slow, feels strange like something is trying to catch up ???

From past experience with other miggys i have had i don't think one of them had no problems on the front end, common course for them i think but good when sorted.

Also, where is this speed sensor (i assume on the pump???) and is it a pig to change ???

Omega General Help / code 16
« on: 23 January 2009, 11:02:22 »
Keep getting code 16 (knock sensor circuit 1), usually in a morning when car is cold.  EML stays on for about 60 secs then goes off.

Is it worth changing the sensor or could there be something else causing the problem???  :(

Omega General Help / 'Key' Question
« on: 16 January 2009, 11:11:49 »
Thought i would try my spare key today as i never have since owning the car. Anyway none of the buttons work which i know you can get fixed. Opened the door with key OK and car starts with spare key but the alarm will not turn off...

Is the fob knackered or is it a case of re-programing it??? Don't even want to think what one will cost from the main stealers...either way needs sorting or sods law will prevale and i will loose my operational key...

Help and advice appreciated as allways.
