Are the solenoids all the same on omegas of similar ages?
I think a trip to the breakers is on the cards for it.

Omega General Help / Re: Not starting first time in the morning
« on: 21 October 2010, 21:54:56 »
Hi guys seen to have sorted this its started first time all week.
After doing the oil change a couple of weeks ago i chanced the crank sensor had fouled with some oil during filter removal!
Took the crank sensor off it had oil all over it gave it a good clean put it back and she has started first time ever since. So until it does it again i will hold back on repacing the sensor.
Cheers Jay

Hi Guys.
Done the paperclip test it flashed a 12 and a 31 i didnt have the engine running so no fault codes??
Could it be a crank sensor on its way out??
Also i serviced the car about 3 weeks ago well oiul and oil filter.
Could that have anything to do with it??
Regards jay
