Passenger door central locking

Hi Guys,
Anyone any idea why my front passenger door lock doesnt unlock most of the time i open the car but occasionally it does but then wont lock??? it wouldnt be a major problem other than when it actually unlocks its not locking again and i keep leaving my passenger door unlocked??
Any help gratly appreciated

take door card off, and replace the solenoid for offending door, farting about with lubricant trying to free it is futile as it will pack in again.

Its an easy enough job once you remove the numerous screws holding the panel on.

p.s. im guessing "farting" isnt covered by the censor  ;D ;D

Looks like your ok with farting lol.
Are the solenoids all the same on omegas of similar ages?
I think a trip to the breakers is on the cards for it.

Probably a sticking solenoid. You will have to take the door card off to have a look. Check the maintenance section for a guide.

yeah they are the same, but only for the relevant doors, back ones are different to front, and mounting brackets are different per door.

 ;)

erm nope, its a little black box with a metal arm sticking out with a kind of hook on. has white writing along with the part number on it, located near the door catch assembly, so you cant miss it  ;D
