if theyre yellow koni's then theyre adjustable, that would be why theyve been added, so that the ride comfort can be adjusted to suit the driver. also maybe at some point the car has been lowered? is it on original springs?

you should also have a 'key' to adjust the shocks to suit your preferred drive experience; hard to not-so-hard!  ;D

Sorry to be fussy but thats not strictly true........you can buy yellow koni's that arent adjustable.the yellow is purely a manufacturer colour.......you can also buy other colours.. :)

coming from a man who knows..... ;)(lol) you can clean them and yes the valve should move!the biggest problem is that the spring is bloody strong.....a descent flat head screwdriver length is necessary.the way i have cleaned them before is using bog standard brake cleaner(do this over a bin cos the shitfluid that comes off is a pain to clean.when youve sprayed it and scraped the 'coke'deposits for a while, try to spray wd40/duck oil/TT (or whatever spray lube you choose to use) behind the valve and keep levering the valve until its free.this normally takes 15-20 mins but thats in a garage with all the tools and vices i want! :y
