I have a 1997 3.0 Elite and the blower motor will not turn off.
It runs constantly even with the engine off, until the battery goes flat.
The only way to stop it is by pulling the fuse.
I have tried removing all the relays but it still runs.
Could it be the rheostat?
The car has air con.

Thanks for the advice, you were spot on.
Climate control resistor £14.99 off ebay, problem solved.
Many thanks :)

If you leave it, it will run until the battery goes flat.
I am now not sure which blower it is, aircon or heater or are they the same.
It is behind the glove box.
I have had the car for eight years and it has never done this before.

Could it be the relay?
I have pulled all of them in the relay box under the bonnet.
All of them next to the fuse box
A green one behind the fuse box
Two below the glove box, one red, one grey.
None of these will stop it running
HELP!!!!!!!

I have a 1997 3.0 Elite and the aircon wont turn off at all, even when you turn the engine off.
The only way to stop it is to pull the fuse.
I am guessing the relay has stuck but I dont know which one it is, I have pulled them all in the box under the bonnet, all the ones next to the fuse box, a green one behind the fuse box and two behind the glove box, one red, one grey none of these will stop it running.
Please HELP!!!!!!! :'(
