How do you turn RDS off?  When I press the RDS button the 'RDS' light goes off on the dash but as soon as I press the tuning buttons it comes back on again and says 'Memory-U' on the dash.

Sure I'm being thick here but I can't seem to get it to work...

Hi everyone,

I purchased a second hand Omega (the 2.5 V6 Auto CDX model if interested!).  I'm really struggling to manually tune the radio at the moment, though.  I have an FM transmitter for my iPhone which transmits at frequency 88.1, but the CCR600 only seems to either autosearch through the six strongest signals, or flick through the six already preset stations.  I need to manually step to 88.1.

In the manual it says to 'briefly press' the left and right arrow buttons but that just goes to the next memory preset. 

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Newbie Welcome Area / Hello everyone

Hi everyone,

I just purchased a second hand Omega this evening.  Got a V plate 2.5 V6 CDX automatic.  Very impressed with it so far.  Nice and comfortable.  Small gripe with the stereo so far (please see Audio problem section if anyone feels like helping!!).

Looking forward to being part of the Omega community!
