Manual Radio Tuning on the CCR600
« on: 11 June 2009, 21:16:14 »

Hi everyone,

I purchased a second hand Omega (the 2.5 V6 Auto CDX model if interested!).  I'm really struggling to manually tune the radio at the moment, though.  I have an FM transmitter for my iPhone which transmits at frequency 88.1, but the CCR600 only seems to either autosearch through the six strongest signals, or flick through the six already preset stations.  I need to manually step to 88.1.

In the manual it says to 'briefly press' the left and right arrow buttons but that just goes to the next memory preset.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks guys

Jamie

Turn the RDS OFF, as with it ON it will always default to search mode.

Manual / Seek tuning can usually be toggled by holding the search button either up or down for a few seconds.

How do you turn RDS off?  When I press the RDS button the 'RDS' light goes off on the dash but as soon as I press the tuning buttons it comes back on again and says 'Memory-U' on the dash.

Sure I'm being thick here but I can't seem to get it to work...

Press and hold, rather than a quick press.
