if you have a cut down 19mm spanner and are able to get the car up in the air it can all be done without taking inlet off.

best i have had with cruise is 47mpg and the worst when giving it the beans ( testing ar35 when i fitted it ) was 7 mpg.

eco button disengages your aircon pump. the button goes 3rd in from the right (i think)

is the timing chain lubricated by any means or does it run dry and can it be adjusted ( re-tensioned ) as mine is a little bit noisy when cold?

Its a TD - if its covered more than 120k, the gearbox has done its time - throw in an AR35, and get the bugger chipped

here here!!!!  mine goes like utter stink now.

hi all,

i have been having a bit of an issue with my beast.
When i start her up after the glow plug light has gone off she fires up straight away but will not run on all 6 cylinders for a couple of seconds then it settles by itself and runs on all six.
my maf sensor is currently disconnected due to it being goosed and im awaiting one in the post.
could the maf sensor be the reason its being naughty or could there be another problem?

i had this fault on my old cavalier. someone said to change my fuel filler cap and it solved it.

i had both sumps off the other day to change my fluid but didnt see any filter in there. could have been all the fluid i dropped over my face when i took them off and being blinded for a few mins lol.

ive been looking into these anti slip fluids you stick in the box to rejuvinate the bands etc  anybody got anything good to say about them?

mine has started to do this now and again, mainly when you give it the beans. where abouts is the filter for the gearbox?

why thank you.
its standard on the outside but has a decat fitted and has been super chipped by collins performance.
the low down torque is superb and puts a grin on my face and i average 45 mpg when sat at 70mph on the motorway.
