starting issues
« on: 29 September 2009, 17:36:40 »

hi all,

i have been having a bit of an issue with my beast.
When i start her up after the glow plug light has gone off she fires up straight away but will not run on all 6 cylinders for a couple of seconds then it settles by itself and runs on all six.
my maf sensor is currently disconnected due to it being goosed and im awaiting one in the post.
could the maf sensor be the reason its being naughty or could there be another problem?

cheers all.

would think it has a couple of glow plugs down change the lot ,
however i will say that it could also be fuel related if you have a drain back or airleak problem assume you have checked leak off pipes? this would be the first port of call as it could cause the problem you have easily!! and its easier to get to them rather than the glow plugs!!! :y
