It did happen before that is why I started the checks and found the front bads were down then the warning came up so all I have done was needed.
I will have a look and see if that is the problem I was tols it could be the flex pipe to the front getting old and plowing up but they look good.
Thanks for the advice.

Omega General Help / changes brakes
« on: 29 March 2007, 22:04:06 »
Hi I changes my front pad Jan and saw that my back disks were pitted so have changed them with new disks, pads and handbrake shoes. I have a problem that sometimes when I brake I get a hard pedal, take my foot off and it is ok again. this does not happen every day. I went round and made sure I had no air in the lines Sunday and all seemed ok then bag it is back today went to brake and hard pedal next to no brakes then fine realy good brakes :P

so any idea what is going on I am not losing any fluid and the level is fine?? :-?

Help before I end up taking it in for a check

HI I did the back disc's and pads at the weekend and found I had oil over one of the shock absorbers and both had lumps on them like rust under the metal so that will have to be the next job before the MOT. But what do you think about lowering the car?? or stay standard.  :-X
And what should I be looking for, :-?
I have never done this before and would like to get it right.
Have tryed the web ut with out much help seems to be about £500.00 to do the lot a bit over what I can aford.

by the way it is an Elite 1997 with all the bits and I want to keep it for two years min so spend a bit know and it will do me.  :y

Newbie Welcome Area / Hi gents
« on: 25 February 2007, 23:14:21 »
just joined after getting some good advise I have got a 1997 Elite fully loaded brought August 2006 with full mot and tax needed a car for a grand and wanted the luxury. what a car the best I have had in 20 year of driving beats the ford granada, BMW 3 and 5. what a pitty it took me this long to find it with four kids no money and found a dimond. have all the paperwork in 2003 sold for seven grand with 90 on the clock has 120 know and drives well, needs a bit of work doors normal rust and I am looking at body mods as rest is great, need new disc's first, found some great front lights on ebay and a grill love the colour black on black all my mates think it is a dream and you can blow that focus nut away with the over drive.

look forward to the ride.car looks like the team smooth and silky unlike chelsea does not cost the earth.

The drivers side back door the trim was dented so when I went to change it there was the rust. started to sort and it went all the way back apart from that not bad.
