arrggg the stereo will not come out of the cage have pushed in the two clip things on each side but it will not slide out ,is it attached anywhere else?

I have an omega 2.5l v5 cdx(if that makes any sense) 1998 I am just trying to swap the stereo for another one , but the old one does have a cd changer in the boot so maybe its for that? just not sure how to unattach the wires might have to take it to someone

Hi
Have been trying to fit a new stereo ( I am by the way a female without a clue what i'm doing) I have got a philips ccr 600 at the minut and have got the unit out of the hole (lol) but the wires are still attached do I just go ahead and pull them out or am i going to do some serious damage ( mostly worried about a thick wire on the right hand side that i'm not sure how to remove  :-/

had pas pump changed a couple of months ago but thats it...oil check came on the other day but oil level is fine?

Thanks guys, i do drive short distances a lot (school run) so I wont give up hope just yet...I really love my car and will be gutted if it has to be scrapped [smiley=sad.gif]

The dipstick is fine but there are small white spots on the oil cap...i'm guessing that this means goodbye car? [smiley=cry.gif]

Hi, I am getting mecahnic to look at it today , steam was coming from the water tank and I have noticed the heater not working for a while as well as some overheating so i think i must have been driving with a broken water pump ...desperately hoping its not the hg but seems likely :(

I think my head gasket has had it :( (steam coming from under bonnet, overheating really juddery on acceleration) anyone tell me how much this is going to cost to get fixed? :(
