Hi all, I had the same problem with my Omega 3 way fob.The boot one and the one for opening the car doors didn't work.One side of the micro switches had come away from the circit board,I had some old Alarm fobs from previous cars that i had.Unsoldier the Micro switches,Had to cut down the the legs things to fit on my fob, Soldied them to my fob,Got another cover from Ebay for a fiver,Better than £110 for a new fob from my local dealer(Glad the key didn't have to be recut).God Knows what that would have cost as well.Have you open it up to have a look.Take a look on Ebay theres all different kinds of switches and covers for car keys,If you can't soldier,Some shops that use a soldier irons should help,for a small charge,Also i like say is I think the switches for the Omega are a bad design,They should have 4 legs rather than 2,Being only 2 legs they are going to break with getting used so many times,I think having 4 legs should stop them breaking  away from the circit board,

Service the fluid and filter and see if it behaves, although it's not the usual symptom of thumping or banging when engaging drive etc

Sticking solenoid maybe? Might Bo worth a code read first.

Will do what you say Chris,To be honest it hasn't been long that its been serviced,But what works one day might not the next,Thanks for the reply my friend

Thanks for an answer,Adjust my driving style,I dont drive heavy footed,But do do shout "come on change" when im driving and theres a few other words added to that as well lol,Even if i Driving Miss Daisy,It just seems to take a while,Love to find someone near to me with a Auto 2.2,They can have a drive of mine to try it

Hi guys
          I have a 2.2 Auto,When im driving round the streets sometimes it takes ages for it to change from second to third,The revs go to very high before it changes,Motorways no problem,But on motorways you have to put your foot down to keep up with the traffic so its not noticeable, Its my first Auto and Omega,Has anyone had the same problem or is it common on Auto's,Many thanks guys in advance

Hi Dave..Do you drive a dark grey Y reg,Where you parked on Eanam near the NatWest Bank there was a police van and blue VW Borra parked behind the Omega on Wednersday today 30th june,I went over to have a look, But i look like a yobo and people think im after robbing them or nick there car lol,I was parked near ATS,By the time i had turned round and came down Lambeth St,The guy had gone down by Natwest bank came back up and went down Eanam towards town,So if you see a skinhead hanging round your Omega,Its me having a look,so don't phone the police cause im not a thief trying to nick your car.lol
