got in the car after work and went to boot it out of the car park [you got to be brave or you'll be there all night] and the thing had no guts the snowflake was lit.pushed the button and all was ok until i slowed down then it came on again it did this quite a few times but now seems ok      any ideas.

the bulbs look fine there is no power to them i checked with a meter yet the rears are fine   ........strange

fuses ok rear parking lights fine zilch at the front

front side lights not working fuse ok had multimeter on terminal showing 0.01v anyone got any ideas---------------------------------------cheers

same problem on my 96 2.0l cdx it's buried under the dash next to the blower motor vx want £55 i'm off down the scrappy.by the way it's a bitch to get out.

seems to be ok now,i let it get up to temp and it seems ok then has a bit of a fit then ok again.i think it could be the carb cleaner i've been useing, i gave it a very thorough scrubbing.i'll leave it overnight and check it monday

done that,the only problem i had was the injector wiring rail was a pig to get free wonder if i've damaged the connections. i'm just having a breather as i've been at it for hours.

just put a new gasket on the inlet manifold[shot to bits] put everything back and now she's running like a bag of nails.sounds like it's on three pots and knocking,i've looked around the hoses and they seem ok.it's a 2.0l 16valve cdx.

speed controler, is that the resistor,the thing with the alloy fins as thats the devil i've taken out.

no blockages past or present the previous owner is a workmate so i know the car was looked after.though it was bl@@dy manky,took me three days to get it looking ok.    sorry i'm off to the pub   will check back with you later     hic ;D
