So....

They dont work off the light switch....

and they dont work with the indicator switch in the left or right position and the keys removed from the igniton....

The tail lights work (which actualy sudgests the light switch is ok), and the bulbs are both ok....

Sorry for what might seem daft questions, but I am basing them on possibly failure scenarios having studied the wiring diagrams...

Never was one fitted to the Omega....even with day running light module in it wouldn't cause this....these bulbs arnt even monitored by the check control either and the rear lights are wired in parralel with them....

No help coming from here, just more questions: Side lights? Meaning indicators on the front wings? Or "american"style side lights (which I don't have)? Or am I missing something...?

the side lights are the small bulbs, same colour as headlights, but not quite as bright, use for low light when its not quite dark enough for headlights!

I believe in Finland you have dim-dip units, so you may not know about sidelights. They are a small bulb (5w) that sits in headlights...
