sorry...... car would start, rev and then cut out, we put a 12v feed to the fuel pump cranked it and she started first time. then as im driving home from work the bloody thing cut out!! and wouldn't start.
do you know if you can change just the solendiod?
any help with this would be great im pullin my hair out!

hi, having messed about tonight with the car and spoke to a mechanic i think i could have a sticking solenoid, does anyone know if this is a common thing?? mechanic said due to the moisture in the diesel its possible that the solenoid could be pitted or faulty. anyone have any ideas on this?

my mate started it by putting a 12v feed to the diesel pump using the bolt at the top where the blue arrow is in the picture, is this a common problem?? has had a new engine 2 years ago and is on gear box number 4. my mate owned the car before me

hello, my omega has developed a problem today, am told its the stop start pin in the diesel pump?!?
has anyone else ever heard of or dealt with this problem??
its starts revs up and then cuts out!

any help with this would be fantastic.

hey guys, just wanted to say hi.
had my omega for about 1 year now, has been to the moon and back (new engine and auto box fitted) love these cars drives as good now as the day it was new!
