its simple as this lads ye can do it the right way by cleaning your breathers torqing your bolts to 8 nm genuine gaskets etc etc and hope it dosent leak ...,.which it will sooner before later as it is a well known fault that they are rubbish, or you can slap on alloy covers like i did on my last two omegas with non genuine gaskets tightned by hand and never again get a leak its up to ye ,
also if this chap was looking for a smooth ride with an even curve bla bla bla he wouldnt be planning on modifying it
bin your dual ram put in a home made resonator box , job done .... may not be smooth but will be a damn lot more responsive for real time driving not plomasing on the motor way ,, tha is my opinion which i can tell you i experienced on MY car before and after and is not your usual hear say rubbish some people on here keep at , keep us updated with your findings ,
its refreshing to see an omega being modified on here , beats the usual topics about maintanence

id also see about getting alloy rocker covers from the vectra 2.5 v6 engine too , i had plastic ones on my omega and they just keep warping and gaskets keep leaking
i put on alloy covers and they have never leaked since they are a much better job and they too crop up on ebay time to time ,
the exhaust manifolds would make a good difference too a lot of companys on german ebay sell them too

if i were you id get rid of the multi ram and make up a resonator box like the ones mantzel sell , it really improves its breathing , and remove the cats out of the exhaust too , gives the car a nice growl and allows it to really rev more freely , actually i seen a set of decat pipes for an omega v6 on ebay at the moment which just bolt on so no messing
not sure if its ended yet

raj make up a new direct air flow path like a mantzel resonator , i did to mine made a great difference , alto no one on here will agree with me because they like slow slosshy migs , vauxhall never intended the majority of things that people modify on cars , also cut the cats out of it , another nice gain , also i put on a light weight flywheel and that has made the best difference of all , it revs no bother now up threw all the gears , totally different to drive now much more acceleration out of it , next im going putting the mig on a diet and losin some weight , go for it m8 im sure vauxhall didnt intend what i did but they really should have lol

never seen them gadgets before , or even thaught of the idea of using a one way valve , to be honest i temporarily sealed off the black plastic breather cover until i can get the hole in the plenum chamber welded up , and then ill just discreetly extend the pipe coming from the crank case and have it running down the back of the engine and close to the road so it can vent as much as it likes  8-)
i have all the aircon hardware removed , the 2 fans condensor and pump and pipework weigh a ton lol glad to have that gone , every little helps

hi , ya its running all right , just busy converting from auto to manual , hooked up the charger its boosting 4psi , so going to swap pulleys to bring it up to 6 or 7 , must change rocker gaskets , as i was boosting it , with the oil breather still connected to the inlet manifold , which ruined my rocker gaskets , going stripping out all the aircon stuff tomor to see if i can mount up a intercooler and pipework , waiting on my new ecu to arive ,must make a custom loom for it , dont want to drive it on standard ecu

right started on sunday , so far i have the charger mounted and the belt on it , made up a little bit of pipework with a dump valve on it all is running well ...surprisingly , now i didnt drive it yet because i just piped it up to the shitty resonator and dual ram , the hoses are swelling up far too much and keep popping off , hope to make up more pipework
on saturday and take it for a short run to see wat boost its making under load etc , going to need a standalone ecu next , pics to follow folk
