i have a p1555 fault code any help would be greatful

5
i will put the old sensor back in see what happens nothing to lose i guess

6
rob g do u have a number i can ring you on plz

7
it did with the one i took out it wont with the aftermarket

8
so got to be the aftermarket crank sensor i put in

9
rpm signal incorrect thats what it read on machine

10
each time we cleared the error codes it would let me do possibly 4 miles the flick the light on then someone suggested it could be the crank sensor after already changing the cam sensor

11
rpm signal incorrect, and 2 p1700 codes i do believe

12
one of the other guys on here suggested i put it back what do u think if the car was running fine before i put this aftermarket in all that was wrong was the car and spanner light was on so sorry so it could be that it was more gearbox related

13
what can i use to clean the old crank sensor up with

14
andy b it was running fine before i did the crank sensor it was changed purely because i couldn,t get rid of the light but i think that could be more to do with the level of fluid in the box or service rather than the crank sensor many thanks for all your help i will change and start again

15
thanks rob i will remove the crap aftermarket clean my original and put that back but as for the gearbox do u think it could be low on fluid
