If you'd kept your mouth shut until after the election in Canada, the result would have been different, and you might have got a more sympathetic ear. Never mind.

Part of it is because Trump wants Canada to become the 51st state of the USA....which many Canadians don't want.

Another element is the rebound from the welcome departure of 'woke tit' Justin Trudeau. :)

I think you would be surprised how many do want to be a part of the US. Especially in the West.
Indeed, Alberta in particular but also the NWT, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Without them Canada is little more than a refugee camp.

If they weren't so polite, Alberta could very easily be part of the US or even independent.

If the valves are still true, then reseat them, if not replace them.

Pistons will take much worse to be actually damaged  :y

I have still got my now 22 year old 3.2 Omega.  Costing me all the time, but still cheaper than buying a brand new car! ;D ;)

Hi Mark!

Car is in leafy Warwickshire, and yes got her absolutely bob on to the timing marks, my main concern was IF there's a stuck valve, soon as I crank her over and worse, fire, then that's going to throw a piston right into said stuck valve...

Progress! 1-3-5 head is off.

Slight shiny patches on the inlet valves. Matching shiny on the piston crowns. All others are very dark.

Bores are very, very smooth.

Any damage opinions so far ?

2-4-6 next.

I had 2.4 and 3.4 but never done a bank job🤣🤣

Fibber. >:D

Although the 2.4 was pretty slow.

The 3.8 is the one to go for.

Where is the car?

If the timing was as per the video then it should be ok, I assume it was running when parked up?

I suspect you would be hard pushed to bend a pair of valves by hand, they are pretty solid
