Coffee was free at my local Saab/VX main dealer. Shame they went under as it was a classy joint.

TB, can understand preventative maintenance of certain items but how so on springs? So you walk around the car and notice the springs are a bit worse for wear, what do you do to prevent them from breaking ?

Just curious

In tunnie's case, they have probably been broken for months. As have many other things.  So its expensive to hit them in one go when they are all noticed together.

Springs, you can tell the state visually.  If I think they are looking a bit ragged, I'll be checking them regularly, and probably ordering in a set to change them before they break.  Law of sod will dictate they will break at the most inconvenient time.
