The whole thing is a disgrace & i can't wait til it's over. I'd like any of you who are fans to remember those who were kicked out of their homes/small businesses & had them levelled by compulsory purchase. YES it happened & is'nt mentioned now so before you get all patriotic & supportive on your settee in your living room watching your big old telly with a beer & some munchies you are very lucky this "event" was'nt held in your town.

Democracy? Yeah really, disgusting describes this better. Boris & ALL fans should look a little deeper. We should be ashamed not proud.

What on earth is wrong with you all?

Greatest show on earth and this time it is in Britain! Where is your patriotism?

Get tuned to ch1. A few beers, (pork curry here). It won't be in Britain again in your lifetime.

Fantastic organisation. :y :y :y

I don't know mate. I only remember a bit of fuss when we won the bid 7 years ago. Since then the whole of the media has kept very quiet about it. Even if you were compensated you should'nt have to leave your home if you don't want to. Legal is one thing but morally this is so wrong it stinks.
No wonder so many folk don't vote. I despise ALL politicians regardless of their party. you vote for them & they take what they can. They don't love you like you love them. ALL votes are misguided support & all politicians are corrupt hypocrites.

You vote for them but they could'nt care less about your homes & families & they're doing it again with this London 2012 B/S. Never the less the majority will watch & get excited. Not if it was your house you would'nt.

......and it was all over so quickly ..........

Having spent months flogging to rehearsals variously across east london and then starting to do the rehersals in the Stadium at the end of June, there were times when it got a bit much. We were all saying how much we were going to enjoy having time to do other things, but having spent so long being involved, I feel as flat as a pancake today..... :(
Danny Boyle was very friendly and would stop and chat lots during rehearsals.

Pushing those bloody beds was a pain, but the kids were great fun and the lot on our beds had a lovely blonde chaperone  ::)

It was great walking through Stratford afterwards with 100's of be-skirted nurses (they wouldn't give me a skirt and petty-coat, but I did ask...) 1 nice american lady did ask me why the men were dressed as dentists. All the close ups were of the professional dancers which was disappointing, and we guessed that they'd concentrate the cameras on GOSH and NHS.
Only had to buy 1 drik all night, too, which was nice

Great fun, and very pleased to have been involved, but now, I just want it to be September 14th.
Bloody Olympic lanes.....
