As title, I dont know why but it smells unbelievably awful for something that should be clean :o , I would like to empty the whole tank and flush it out with water without taking bumper off etc and without using the water jets to empty due to smell.. Any ideas  :-\

Yeh, open the bonnet and remove the pump and rubebr grommit/gauze.

Then flush through using a hose pipe.

Glad you got it sorted any good screenwash additive is ok Never be tempted to use anything else such as washing up liquid as this causes the foul smell

If you've got a VAG Trade Parts Specialists near you, drop by and get a bottle of their posh screenwash. Smells like a nice drink.

This is their website - http://www.thetradepartsspecialists.co.uk/ - don't know if they do telephone orders, my local one is practically next door to my workplace so I just call in.

There's always Ebay - but the price adds up with postage.
