More importantly would HD allow you on it when she was trying to have a kip?

The one I got was seemed to be a good construction and strong material I didnt worry about our cat's being on it.

Also Three teenage girls slept on it that night so even strong enough for the larger OOF'er  :o ;D ;D ;D

I've had a few of these. No issue with the cat getting on, and neither moggie managed to stick claws in it.

However, it is quite high, and I suspect HD isn't as nimble as she once was.  Therefore, I reckon I'd ensure there was a nice thick blanket was on the airbed, just to help protect from claws when jumping up.

My previous one was damaged by a sleeping bag zip that dug in badly (not sure if zip was dmaged before, but zipper part was bent and twisted afterwards)
