Well I replaced the front Lambda senor (which was loose) and the plugs, cleaned out the throttle body and various breather pipes and so far no more engine or spanner light (so far!)

The cold starts still bad it feels like theirs no choke could this be the ECT sensor? (where abouts is it?) On another note I have a rattle on the passenger side I checked the drop link which seems fine but the bottom wishbone bush (the one that faces down) doesn't look so good, where would be a good place to get a pair I might as well do both. Thanks for all the advice so far a really good site!  :y

Maybe. That is why I suggested that you check that it is giving a plausible reading.

Vauxhall coolant temperature sensors seem to be quite robust & don't usually cause problems though.......
