Omega headlight switch
« on: 31 January 2013, 17:14:28 »

Hi all.   I fitted led fog bulbs about 6 months ago.  I'm now having problems with headlight switch.   When I turn my lights off my doors lock  :-\ !!!    Would fitting them bulbs overload the headlight switch ?  I also had to take the interior bulbs out as the over head interior light was staying on.

LED would be lot less load than those they replaced - sometime not enough load can cause problems though.

Change back to the OEM and see what happens?

Thanks Steve.  It's not been right since my mechanic left the door open causing the battery to go flat. He replaced battery with a spare he had as he killed mine.  Since then when I unlock the doors  and open drivers door the doors lock!!  It's now stopped doing that and know looking the doors when I turn the lights off.   I disconnected the power sounder would that have anything to do with it??    I replaced fogs with led cos it was cheaper to buy a pair of LEDs than1 standard  fog bulb  :-[

The problems sounds more like water in a connection somewhere or maybe a poor earth?

Is it when you switch the LED fogs off? Or the main headlights?
