Thanks I am new here so I'm sorry if I haven't complied to your way of doing things, just trying to get the beast from lurching when it stops, Its a little annoying that's all, apart from that car runs like a Trojan

I've  cleaned the ICV, BUT ENGINE STILL REVS WHEN ITS GOING TO STOP, any suggestions

An air leak of some sort springs to mind.It might be worth spraying a little carb cleaner around different areas of the engine bay and see if the revs rise.If they do,youve found the area of the leak. :y

Might also be worth just checking the throttle cable hasn,t got any frayed wire strands as that could restrict it from pulling back when releasing throttle.

Pop off the cable from the ball joint on the throttle body and give it a good check ,then apply little bit of grease to the ball end when replacing .

Does sound more like an air leak if you have given the ICV athorough clean..assume you applied a few drops of light oil on the internal slider when refitting....as per guide.
