memory seats to a MV6
« on: 06 September 2013, 07:41:30 »

I am thinking of changing seats to Elite leather &  just looked at the guide on fitting elite seats to other models.

If the minor wiring adaption is carried out as shown will this allow  the memory system work ? :-\ :-\

or is Tech 2 required to programme ? :-\

TIA    Al :y

Im assuming though that the wiring & plugs to MV6 seats will be the same setup as a basic (CD) spec Omega. Perhaps someone could confirm ?

From memory yes Albs, a few years back now, its was a Car I got from CraigA (Watford Member, another 'Garage said HG Fail' when it wasn't), He had MV6 Leather fitted to his 2.0 LPG CD, I put some CD Seats back in before I shifted the car, fairly sure it was a straight swop.

I did wonder about that when I read the post title, where did the CD bit come from then?, or am I guessing Albs has done the Elite to CD swop in the past and wanted to confirm that MV6 would be the same deal? Should be ok though, longer seat bolts on the Elite so grab them, plus all the rear wiring and stuff if you want the rears to heat up.  :y
