Perhaps a detailing how to in the guides section? 

Re the hinge could you take it off, grease it up and put it back together wiping off the excess? Never took a door hinge off so no idea if thats viable?

You can draw the pin out with a pin tool, but the door is heavy and would need 2 people one with very sore danglee's
