Wahaay we're back up.

Now getting 54megabobbles down. 3.5 up. Lordy, I'm getting a nose bleed.
Just attempted a speed test, getting 0.01Mb download, and 0.22Mb upload. Shite.

How did we ever cope with 2g?
Very few people used mobile data then, so the 2G networks could cope.  Because every bloody idiot has a smartphone now trying to gobble any available bandwidth, the mobile networks are simply buggered.

Iirc orange had something in the order of 5 different access points just prior to 3G release.
