I have never paid for air. If I went to a garage that tried to charge I would just the old foot pump out of the boot and do it that way.

Quote-It was the demise of my El Cheapo that prompted the visit to the forecourt air line , wouldnt mind the pump still works but the bit that fits over the tyre valve is buggered  .

Hi, did you know you can get a repair kit from Hal***ds for your bit that fits over the valve. Our at least you could a couple of month ago. Comes with valve, with insert and small jubilee clip. I fixed mine this way, just cut the old one off.

It was in the pressure gauge section. :y

By the way how do you do that quote thingy? :-/
