No ability for sub boards with the software we use, sadly.

I understand the point which is why we have said in Forum Guidlines to make titles more meaningful, and the mods are slowly trying to encourage people to do so.

I think we have too many boards, but maybe we do need to seperate?

Views welcome :)

The forum seems to be growing rapidly, and with growth maybe changes/expansion is required.

But I also think the forum goes through phases, somes it's all technical stuff in the way of problems, some times it's technical for modding and upgrades.  There are many times there is just lots of banter, this week for example has been entertaining with the banter, other weeks there has been lots of other humour.

Either way it will allways be hard to please every one.

Adding a jokes section,
Other cars
Omega chat,
Genaral Chat
Dob a dealer,

They have all been mentioned recently, but at the end of the day, it has to be a balance, and that is a balance of what is really needed againt what is wanted, and the relation of the sections being used correctly by members and the extra work req by admin.

Only time will tell.

Either way, the forum is fantstic.   :y :y :y

Keep up the good work.   :y :y :y

The main object of this forum, and this is a personal opinion, is to help owners sort out problems with their Omegas.

Secondary to that, is the General Chat section, where members can air their views on any subject.

I totally agree, but that at times seems to be the problem with some members or certain types of post.

Thats my understanding of what we are trying to achieve.

If significant member numbrs think we need tweaks to achieve that, I'm all ears...

Maybe worth putting a set of questions up and putting it to the vote,

I feel that the General Chat section works well, it doesnt take much effort to look for the threads of interest to myself. The only thing I would like is to be able to see more threads per page - can this be achieved?

As TB says there are already quite a lot of boards active and I do not see much benefit from sub dividing a board again. Just my opinion.

I don't think it's broken .. so doesn't need fixing !!!

Seriously ... as has been said .. general chat is "general" .. anything goes ...car problems ..in Help ...

The ONLY thing I might suggest, and it only bothered me for a very short while when a newbie, would be perhaps a change of title ... we have

Omega General Help

and

General Chat ..

this "might" be the confusion   I would suggest changing to

Omega Help

and

General Chat

just simplifies things very slightly

Either way .. my thanks to the Admins for all their efforts on our behalf
