Gearbox issues!!!!
« on: 10 May 2015, 18:43:51 »

Evening all :)

currently my 2.5 td automatic is parked up due to the automatic gearbox playing up :-\ it will go in reverse but is very slow in moving in forward gears, l really dont know what to do? would a fluid and filter change help in any way or is it that a good replacement box is the answer, by the way it comes up with "automatic gearbox " on display.

i am desperate for help on this issue :'( :'(

first you must check that the trans fluid is up to the correct level as per the guide on this forum, as there is no dipstick on these transmissions you need to be very specific on the checking. then if you have no luck then come back on here and ask for more knowledable folk than i with regards this problem.
Hope this helps. see the maint guides for checking procedure. :y
