Polite way to go for a pee
« on: 08 July 2008, 07:45:22 »

During one of her daily classes a teacher trying to teach good manners, asked her students the following question:

'Michael, if you were on a date having dinner with a nice young lady, how would you tell her that you have to go to the bathroom?'

Michael said, 'Just a minute I have to go pee.'

The teacher responded by saying, 'That would be rude and impolite. What about you Paul, how would you say it?'

Paul said, 'I am sorry, but I really need to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back.'

'That's better, but it's still not very nice to say the word bathroom at the dinner table. And you, little Johnny, can you use your brain for once and show us your good manners?'

'I would say: Darling, may I please be excused for a moment? I have to shake hands with a very dear friend of mine, whom I hope you'll get to meet after dinner.'

The teacher fainted.

Classic... ;D

Off topic...one of the benefits of having a foreign wife she doesn't understand slang, after hearing me repeatedly say phrases such as ""im off for a dump"" ""i need an Ertha kit"" ""drop a large one"" or ""im off to spray the seat"" she innocently picked up a couple of my less than savory saying.

Visiting my mum one evening, who adores gemma as she has never swore, used bad language or been rude about anyone in 7 years of marriage she announced ""Mum I've got to have a dump...be right back"" and wondered why my mum fell about laughing. ;D

Poor thing thought it meant have a wee wee..... ;D

My yankie wife has some american friends who love some of the army slang for going to the road gritter:

-coil a rope
-drop the kids off at the pool
-the turtle is getting curious
-drop a log
-call the coastguard; a danger to shipping is on its way

etc, etc

When I was in Junior school, near to Scrunties, we had an outside loo, no roof in the urinals, and we used to see if we could pee over the wall. ;D ;D ;D
