Just got in, knackered. Beer and bath time! I'll post up the comprehensive list of what we found asap!

Still needs a few very minor tweaks, and some electricals sorting out,  but ultimately today, it's gone from a stuttering mis-firing mess, into something that runs nicely on LPG, so definately good progress :y

OMG, that is really appalling, the state they left your motor in. If they didn't have the confidence and knowledge to tackle the job then they should have laid their cards on the table. For them to take your money and screw you over is just the work of cowboys.....and we think it will never happen to us. tut.

Though James, whatta guy, so pleased you've managed to trace the problems, shame you had to take it into your own hands and spend your own time fixing someone else's mess, which you could have done better in the first place!

....and Danny, what was the pipe joined with???....chewing gum?  ::)

nice one Danny, its had the James treatment should be fine now!  :)

Have to ask is it really worth changing to a Corsa??  I am finding my 2.2 quite cheap to run!

You going to get easily 40mpg on gas.. prob 50/55 on a run easy...

Same as the Corsa.

only big saves will be road tax and insurance.

BUT... is that really worth it?? prob talking few hundred quid here  :-/

its because i'm saving for my own place, so every little helps, i thought about the idea of keeping the omega and using the corsa for work but its money sat on the drive, being a postman, the short journeys arent doing my engine any favours, the corsa is absolutely perfect for everything i'd need in a car....... until i have a child! ;D
