Re: A question about driving licences

The thing that was bugging us was the wording on the back of the certificate which stated that it was not a driving licence and could not be used as proof of one  :-\

Anyway, its off the road now and the insurance was cancelled this morning.
The lad finishes work at 3 so its a case of finding the best quote later and paying the wonga out  :(
This could be interesting because I will stay as a named driver if it makes it cheaper for him.
The thing is, the cheapest way for a new driver is to have a spy box fitted limiting the times the car can be driven ect.
1/. How will it affect the policy if I want to drive it after the curfew  :-\
2/. I don't drive anything like a learner or new driver so how would that affect the policy ?

Its a real pisser that we couldn't have hung it out for the next 3 weeks so he could have got the 30% NCB  :(
Tbh, if he had shown me the piggin policy, i'd have told him to cancel the test and re book it after the 10 months are up because that was the main reason for him putting the policy in his name in the first place.

Broocie , Jason, thanks for the official heads up on the finer points  :y

Thanks all  :)
